Why a 40-year-old Cyprus law firm built a technology brand
Philippou Law Firm has advised international founders, families and businesses since 1984. Over those four decades we noticed a pattern: the same three services— company formation, tax relocation, accounting & audit — kept recurring in exactly the same way, for clients who wanted predictable pricing, a digital workflow, and a single point of contact. That doesn’t fit the traditional bespoke-legal-advisory model. So we built Zeno instead.
Technology-first delivery
We rebuilt incorporation, tax filings, residency and accounting as a fully digital workflow. Every client gets a 5-minute online onboarding, a mobile app that tracks the file in real time, and a secure vault for every certificate, declaration and engagement letter we produce.
Automation where it matters
The repeatable parts of a professional engagement — KYC, name reservation, TIN, VAT, UBO filings, annual returns, compliance reminders — are automated behind the scenes so our lawyers and accountants spend their time on the non-repeatable parts: judgment, structure, and client advice.
Focused on three services, done exceptionally
Zeno does Cyprus company formation, tax relocation, and accounting & audit. Nothing else. That narrow focus is what lets us productise, publish fixed fees on the site, and commit to 24-hour reply SLAs. Everything outside those three domains belongs at the full law firm.
Fixed fees, published, no hourly billing
Traditional law-firm billing is incompatible with an online, productised service. Zeno publishes every package price and scope on the public site; engagement letters are signed before work begins; invoicing is transparent; no timesheet surprises.

The name
Why we named it Zeno
Zeno of Citium was born in Cyprus (c. 334 BC) and founded Stoic philosophy: the pursuit of clarity, purpose and deliberate action — the idea that good outcomes come from disciplined, repeatable practice rather than improvisation. That is how we approach the three things we do.
